Tony is the only Supervisor Candidate with both Public and Private Business Experience, totaling more then thirty four years and has a proven record of serving the Community of Penfield.

County

• Fought to keep the tax rate flat in 2009
• Helped to cut property tax rate in 2008
• Has secured over $250,000 for Community projects over the last Several years forPenfield
• Voted to limit County spending with the “taxpayer protection act”
• Supported more technology and equipment to increase operational efficiencies

Town

• Supported Town budgets from 1986 – 1993 that helped keep the property tax rate low
• Voted to support the appropriate commercial/industrial development to increase the tax base
• Worked to consolidate sewer and water districts which eliminated individual districts and generated significant savings for the Town
• Voted to support the Open Space Plan

What’s Next??

• Keep the tax rate flat and look for ways to further reduce government spending>
• Take Inter-municipal cooperation to the next level to help lower costs for all of our Governmental partners>/li>
• Work with the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department to ensure our neighborhoods and streets remain safe for all our residents
• Continue to keep Penfield #1 in open government within Monroe County
• Look to increase affordable senior housing within the Town
• Expand our Parks and Recreation programs for all age groups
• Continue expanding the Town’s green initiatives with all aspects of our facilities and operations
